For years I’ve looked over my shoulder, looking for the boy who destroyed me. Turns out, all I ever had to do was watch the door of my father’s pub.
The universe is called Efimia. In the vast north, the realm of Drammen navigates an unsettled peace with its neighbors—especially Tutovl to the east. The homeland of the former queen of Drammen, Tutovl is a wild land, with shires run by a powerful network of criminals with ties to the crown.
A law-abiding realm, Drammen has long been ruled by one family, a family that puts peace with its neighbors and prosperity for its people ahead of all else. But the royal family is about to learn that the price of peace has just gone up…
I’m so excited to share a sneak peek with you!! I’ve been working through revisions to Book One of the Huntsisters series, and while I’m polishing the story and filling out the outline for the next books, I received the first sketch of the cover art for Book One!! Please don’t share the sketch! This is an unfinished first draft from my brilliant and amazing artist, Matt Hubel. I cannot wait to share the sexy, brooding final art!!
I decided to go with a single character on this cover because I wanted to convey the importance of the bloodlines to the entire series. The book has sweeping politics, a heist, and lots and lots of action, but at the heart of it is this one man: Prince Leo.
Prince Leo was supposed to be heir to the throne of Drammen. Since his mother divorced his father and returned to her family estate in Tutovl, Leo has been preparing for the day the crown would sit upon his head. His father arranged his marriage to Princesse Murielle of Tutovl, but everything changed the day the Queen of Tutovl sent her daughter to meet her betrothed. Instead of a political union with Prince Leo, the princess romanced the king…and is now expecting the king’s child.
Leo believes his father, his sister, and himself are all at risk—vulnerable to a larger plot to eradicate their bloodline, leaving the throne open for the Princess from Tutovl. He has proof, but he’s not willing to leave matters in the hands of his lovesick father. He travels the realm to find the one person he believes can save his bloodline and restore peace to the realm: the woman who he nearly destroyed.
Broken Bloodlines reunites Leo with the woman whose soul he shattered. Will she accept the duty conveyed to her by own family’s blood and protect the prince? Two broken souls, one threatened bloodline, and a passion that binds their fates…
What do you think of the sketch of Prince Leo? 🥵👑
I can't wait!
