Trailer

BIG announcement!! I'm launching a PODCAST!
2

Friends, I am so excited to share the trailer with you and finally announce this!!!

It’s HERE!

The Fantasy Romance Podcast hosted by Callie Chase is finally going live!! In every episode, I sit down with a renowned fantasy romance author or a writer who you won’t to leave off your TBR list. We have candid discussions about the burning issues in this sub-genre we love, including questions like:

Why are orcs, gargoyles, and monsters so darn sexy?

Where does steampunk fit into fantasy romance?

How does an indie author manage a book’s sudden viral fame?

I read epic fantasy, urban fantasy, monster romance, science fantasy, fairy tale retellings, and everything in between, and I want to share the books and authors who make this corner of romance the most wonderful place with YOU!

FAQs About The Fantasy Romance Podcast

How often will episodes be released?

It took months of planning, legal, and coordination to get the first few episodes underway, so now that we’re going live, we’ll update the release schedule based on how many author interviews we can get scheduled and edited. Based on the lineup I have already recorded, we’re going to start with monthly episodes. But that can change, so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading Callie’s Spellbook! If you want to be notified whenever a podcast goes live, please subscribe for free! 📻 📚

Will you be interviewing famous fantasy authors? Trad pubbed or indie?

Yes to all of the above! I have a background in traditional and indie publishing, so I do not discriminate based on the publishing path the author has taken. I’m grateful to each author for making time in their schedule to chat with me, and am genuinely hoping to spread the word about authors I think more readers need to know about!

I’m an author. Can I be on your podcast?

Yes, absolutely! I won’t interview an author until I read at least one book so your book must be available on Kindle Unlimited, as an ebook on Amazon, or available as a paperback so I can purchase and read before I invite you to the podcast. Feel free to contact me for information about the process. You’ll need to sign a release and there is a video welcome packet to walk you through the technical specs and other need-to-know information.

I’m a reader. Can I submit questions for you to ask my favorite author(s)?

Absolutely! I would love to hear from you! You can make a recommendation to me about an author you’d like to see on the podcast, send in questions, or just reach out generally anytime. I’d love to hear from you!

If you’re podcasting, does that mean you won’t be writing anymore?

No! In my “day job,” I work with authors and small businesses including producing a podcast for a client, and it’s always been a dream of mine to have a podcast of my own. Since I read SO MUCH fantasy romance, this is a perfect way for me to talk about the books I love AND pursue my other dreams! I’m still planning to release at least three books in 2024. Stay tuned for that!

Will you offer giveaways of the books/from the authors you interview?

Some of the participating authors do plan to run giveaways after their episode is live, so please listen to each episode for details.

Where can I listen to the podcast?

If you subscribe here to my newsletter (Substack), you can watch the video in its entirety right here! Every podcast will be posted here for ease of watching. The Fantasy Romance Podcast will also be distributed on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, but if there’s a platform you prefer for podcasts, let us know so we can be sure you can find us!

Who is responsible for the podcast itself?

We have a fantastic behind the scenes team of legal, etc., but the folks I’d love to thank here are the podcast video and audio editor, Michael Lee, and the artist whose art is all over my books and website, Matt Hubel. Everything else is by me, so if you have a recommendation, compliment, or complaint, I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for reading Callie’s Spellbook! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and podcast notifications!

I’ve had a blast chatting with some fantastic authors, going deep into their lives, their work, and the amazing stories they write. I hope you’ll give the episodes a listen, discover a new-to-you favorite, or spend time with an author whose work you love. See you later this month for the first ever Fantasy Romance Podcast!!
